Job Title: Azure Data Lead

We are actively seeking experienced Azure Data Leads who are proficient in ADF, Azure Databricks, MS SQL server, T-SQL, PySpark, and comprehensive data warehousing solutions.

Requirements:

• Minimum 6 years’ experience in architecting and deploying Microsoft Azure data solutions.
• Solid grasp of cloud computing principles and architectures.
• Ability to devise and maintain ETL data pipelines.
• Expertise in Azure Data Lake Storage, Azure Data Factory, Azure Databricks, and Azure Synapse Analytics.
• Proficient in SQL, Python/PySpark, PowerShell.
• Strong knowledge in data modeling, data warehousing, and dimensional modeling.
• Experience with Source Control Management like TFS, GIT, or SVN.
• Familiarity with Azure’s security features and cloud migration strategies.
• Understanding of data governance, security, and compliance protocols.
• Experience in the retail domain will be considered an advantage.

Responsibilities:

• Lead workshops and collaborations with multiple teams to define agendas for data ingestion, mining, and analytics.
• Design, prototype and test data solutions in collaboration with business and IT teams.
• Manage offshore teams and client interactions to address technical dependencies and challenges.
• Develop and implement robust ADF & Databricks data transformation workflows.
• Ensure optimal data security practices during storage and transit.
• Execute automation, continuous integration, and deployment of high-standard code.
• Incorporate transformed data effectively into storage and reporting infrastructures.
