You will join our Data & Analytics department

As our new experienced Senior BI Developer, you'll become part of a Global team tasked with developing data-driven analytical solutions using both traditional and advanced methods. These solutions support Ramboll's global business units. Currently expanding due to a strategic focus on the area within Ramboll, our department primarily aims to facilitate the business with excellent data-driven resolutions. This involves ensuring all solutions run smoothly in production, coaching users on new solutions, handling change requests and support incidents, etc.

Your main tasks and responsibilities will include:

• Understanding user requirements
• Pitching your BI solutions to users, stakeholders, and the BI Team
• Monitoring, enhancing and consistently optimizing existing structures, data flows and processes
• Participating in the day to day functioning of our data warehouse and BI solutions
• Planning and handling your own BI projects from start to finish
• Having a background in data warehouse design (e.g., dimensional modeling) and data mining
• Having a comprehensive understanding of database management systems, online analytical processing (OLAP) and ETL (Extract, transform, load) framework
• Teaching users how to derive value in Power BI with Ramboll data
• Creating good customer experiences

• Several years of experience with Data Analytics
• Holding a relevant educational degree
• Expert proficiency in SQL, SQL Server Integration Services and Power BI.
• Strong proficiency in Data Visualization, Data Modelling, Query Performance Tuning.
• Strong proficiency in writing Stored Procedure, Complex queries, and DAX
• Hands-on experience with tools like: Power BI, SSMS, Visual Studio
• Knowledge on SQL Server Analysis Server, Power Query
• Desirable knowledge on TFS /GIT
• Fluent in English – both written and spoken
