About the Role

As a Business Intelligence Engineer, you will have a firm grasp of data and reporting. Your key responsibilities will include:

  • Setting data modeling standards and constructing complex data pipelines.
  • Building and maintaining multiple databases.
  • Identifying complex business problems and uncovering insights through data mining and visualization techniques.
  • Developing deep-dive tools, user interfaces (UIs), metrics, and dashboards for real-time insights.
  • Collaborating effectively with business customers and cross-functional teams.

Key Qualifications

The ideal candidate will have:

  • 5+ years of experience with data analysis using Redshift, Oracle, NoSQL, etc.
  • Proficiency in data visualization tools like Tableau or Quicksight.
  • Experience with data modeling, warehousing, and building ETL pipelines.
  • Expertise in statistical analysis packages such as R, SAS, and Matlab.
  • Advanced skills in SQL for database querying and Python for data processing.

Preferred Qualifications

In addition to the basic qualifications, preferred candidates will have experience with:

  • AWS solutions such as EC2, DynamoDB, S3, and Redshift.
  • Data mining and ETL in business environments with large-scale, complex datasets.
