Responsibilities

• Analyze system requirements to design responsive algorithms and solutions.
• Leverage big data and cloud technologies to develop production-quality code.
• Optimize performance and scale engineering efforts as necessary.
• Collaborate with team members to set priorities and identify project objectives.
• Engage in comprehensive SDLC activities, including sprint planning and estimations.
• Work efficiently in agile team settings.
• Bring innovative solutions to complex problems.
• Identify and implement improvements within the project scope.

Requirements

• A minimum of 4 years professional experience in the U.S. IT industry.
• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or a similar field.
• Experience with cloud-based Big Data technologies.
• Proficiency in big data frameworks such as Hadoop, Spark, and Hive.
• Hands-on experience with AWS services like S3 and EMR.
• Expertise in Hive/Spark SQL/SQL and programming languages like Java & Scala.
• Proactive in exploring technological advancements and an ability to pursue superior alternatives independently.
