This role is critical as we progress through digital transformation, employing advanced technologies such as cloud computing, AI, and robotics process automation.

What You'll Do

As a Bigdata Cloud Developer, you’ll dedicate 80% of your time to hands-on design, development, and architectural efforts. This position demands proficiency in Spark on Scala, AWS, and Databricks, with desirable experience in Financial services and FCC-related projects. You’ll manage DataSync, DMS, DBFS Utils, Clusters, Notebooks, and Workflows, and tune performance to optimize processes. Your skills in data engineering will empower our projects, as you work independently, taking minimal supervision to deliver effective solutions with agility.

Preferred Qualifications and Skills

Applicants are expected to have at least 8 years of IT experience and 3 years in AWS/Databricks environments, alongside a solid background in enterprise application development. You must have extensive experience in Data Analysis, ETL Development, Design, and Spark on Scala. Proficiency in Python for scripting, orchestration, and familiarity with RDBMS, Data Warehouses, and Unix Shell Scripts is crucial. We value financial domain knowledge and excellent verbal and written communication skills. Agile methodology experience is essential.

What We Value

Must-have skills include Hadoop, Spark, Scala, Unix shell scripting, Cloud Migration, AWS, Databricks, and knowledge in tools like SVN, GIT, JFrog, Jenkins, VeraCode, SQL, and ETL. Skills in Airflow and Quantexa are nice to have.
