State Street is seeking a highly skilled Big Data, Java Full Stack Lead with robust experience in developing applications using Hadoop, Scala, and Spark. As a part of our Global Technology Services (GTS), you will play a critical role in driving our digital transformation and delivering innovative technology solutions.

Role Summary & Description

This role requires significant experience in both front-end and back-end technologies. The ideal candidate should have:

Development Skills:

• Proficiency in developing dynamic website applications with Core Java 11 and various Spring Boot modules including Spring Core, Spring REST, Spring JDBC, and Spring AOP.
• Designing and implementing web architecture using HTML5, CSS, JavaScript, and React JS.
• Creating reusable components for front-end and back-end technologies.
• Strong proficiency in JavaScript, DOM manipulation, and the JavaScript object model.

Team Collaboration: You will work with Agile scrum teams, contributing to the design and architecture of scalable, high-performance, and maintainable software.

Attention to Detail: Ability to articulate the implications of design and architectural decisions.

Cloud Expertise: Knowledge of at least one public cloud platform such as AWS, Azure, or GCP.

Additional Skills: Familiarity with Scala, end-to-end data analytics workflow, and excellent time management and communication skills.

• Front-End: HTML5, CSS, JavaScript, DOM, React JS, Babel, Webpack, npm
• Back-End: Hadoop, Scala, Core Java 11, Spring Boot, Spring JMS, MySQL, Oracle

Good to Have

• Experience with public cloud platforms using Docker, Kubernetes, Helm framework
• Familiarity with Snowflake and Databricks
