Nurun is seeking a bilingual intermediate project manager to join their teams. As a project manager, you will be responsible for leading the design and development of meaningful and intuitive solutions that solve complex problems for our clients and their customers. Job Description
The Lead Data plays a dual role within the agency.
- Be the keeper and champion of a data-centered culture at Nurun.
- Lead mandates and support customers in mandates.
Practice Leader
- Participate in project estimation;
- Be a technical reference for the teams;
- Contribute to the growth of the team's experts;
- Ensure the quality of deliverables within the agency;
- Participate in the democratization of data within Nurun;
- Ensure adherence to best practices on Nurun's own platforms in strategy, implementation, and analysis phases;
- Stay informed about trends, best practices, and new tools available;
- Help define a vision for data practice within the agency and contribute to evolving the service offering and the tools used to implement it;
- Help Nurun identify opportunities to use various forms of artificial intelligence in its projects;
- Define propositions for our clients in relation to data.
Mandate Lead in Data Consultation
- Contribute to performance analysis, measurement goal definition, and performance monitoring in the initial phases of our mandates;
- Recommend and implement best practices for data organization and structure.
- Set up dashboards and configure visualization tools for our clients.
- Support the implementation of performance tracking tools such as Piwik and GA4 and use them to analyze the performance of our clients' digital products.
- Help teams use artificial intelligence models in our products.
- The person hired will be specifically responsible for our performance optimization approach and for supporting a client in the travel industry in a transformation allowing them to leverage data to make better decisions.
Qualifications
- Bilingual: proficiency in French and English.
- At least eight years of professional experience.
- A Bachelor's degree in mathematics, statistics, computer science, business administration, economics, or finance.
- Comfortable presenting to groups and leading discussions with clients.
- Ability to access various databases and create advanced queries for data analysis. Strong knowledge of SQL, expert knowledge of Python or R
- Proven experience in machine learning statistics, both in creating and maintaining models, as well as mentoring analysts to find the right methods to solve issues
- Advanced knowledge of data models, infrastructure, and data architecture.
- Ability to manage ambiguity, shifting priorities and ability to manage a team and work independently
- Proven expertise related to data quality, knowledge of various cleaning techniques and data integrity checking.
- Good ability to visualize data in Tableau, Looker, PowerBI, Quicksight, or another data visualization tool from the category.
- Ability to mix and analyze different data sets to provide clear and precise analyses for different audiences.
- A good knowledge of Google Analytics 4 is a plus.
- Experience in the travel industry is a plus.
