Key Responsibilities and Qualifications

As part of a central applied research and engineering team, you will:

• Implement and manage a model evaluation pipeline.
• Analyze extensive data sets to inform product decisions and enhance product quality.
• Contribute to the development of real-time, on-device Computer Vision and Machine Perception technologies.

You are expected to have:

• Proven experience in statistical data analysis and machine learning techniques.
• Strong programming expertise, especially in Python.
• Skills in developing sophisticated data science pipelines, tool-chains, and workflows.
• Proficiency in data visualization tools such as matplotlib, ggplot, or Tableau.
• Outstanding communication skills to influence decisions and articulate complex information clearly.
• A high degree of self-motivation, curiosity, and the capability to thrive in ambiguous and rapidly changing environments.

Education & Experience Requirements

You should hold a BS degree and possess at least three years of relevant industry experience to qualify for this role.

Compensation and Benefits

At Apple, we provide a competitive compensation package. The salary range for this position is $138,900.00 - $256,500.00, depending on your background and location. Apple's total compensation package includes potential discretionary bonuses and equity awards, with the opportunity for growth and progression.
