Job Summary:

The Data Team at Bird plays a crucial role in driving strategic decisions and tactical effectiveness across the company. As a Data Analyst, you will be instrumental in enriching our internal teams' understanding, helping make our operating cities more sustainable and efficient. By collaborating with cross-functional teams, you'll ensure data insights are both accessible and actionable company-wide.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Utilize your expertise to transform raw data into reliable and actionable insights.
  • Create and communicate through easy-to-understand dashboards and analyses, detailing our business condition, product performance, and growth opportunities.
  • Act as a data advocate in internal communications, emphasizing best practices in data retrieval and measurement.
  • Lead analytic processes, including measurement strategies, data preparation, modeling, and cleansing to drive strategic decisions.
  • Engage with stakeholders across technical and non-technical backgrounds, enhancing data-driven decision-making.

Must Have Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in a quantitative field such as Economics or Finance from a top-tier university.
  • Proficiency in SQL and 1-2 years of experience using data to drive business or product decisions.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Advanced degree in a relevant field.
  • Proficiency in R or Python, with strong skills in data manipulation and visualization.
  • Understanding of data warehouse architecture.
  • Excellent communication, project management, and problem-solving skills.

Salary and Benefits:

Bird offers competitive pay with a salary range of $84,700—$99,700, dependent on qualifications and experience. Our comprehensive benefits package includes bonuses, variable pay, paid time off, and health and welfare benefits as per company policy.
