As an integral part of KAYAK, you will join a vibrant community that includes other major brands like OpenTable and several metasearch entities such as Swoodoo and momondo. This role offers the unique opportunity to collaborate across these renowned brands, leveraging combined strengths and insights to enhance the global travel experience.

What You Will Do:

In this crucial role, you will:

  • Develop and manage the ingestion of data into financial forecasting models, ensuring both timeliness and precision.
  • Construct robust data pipelines and reporting infrastructures, while also enhancing FP&A processes and analyses across the board.
  • Deploy SQL skills for real-time data querying and analysis in our cutting-edge applications.
  • Design and sustain advanced early warning and analytics systems utilizing the latest in cloud data technologies.
  • Engage in software development projects for data collection and querying, continuously refining data integrity and availability.
  • Work collaboratively with diverse teams to craft solutions that handle voluminous data sets efficiently.

Please apply if you meet the following qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or Engineering.
  • Over 5 years' experience with data management operations including aggregation, standardization, and reporting.
  • Profound knowledge and hands-on experience with big data technologies like Hadoop and Spark, and EPM technologies such as Essbase or Anaplan.
  • Extensive experience with RDBMS, particularly Oracle or MS SQL Server, and adept in SQL or other data integration/ETL tools.
  • Skilled in programming languages like Python, and familiar with Object-oriented programming concepts.
  • A proven problem-solver with a passion for analytics and a proactive approach to project ownership.

Salary Range & Benefits:

The salary range for this role located in the United States is $110,000 - $135,000, with additional benefits like annual bonuses, comprehensive health coverage, life insurance, and extensive parental leave benefits.
