Role: Senior Data Architect

We are seeking an experienced Senior Data Architect to lead the design and implementation of cloud-based data solutions on the Azure platform. In this role, you will define the data architecture strategy and ensure alignment with business objectives, data governance policies, and industry best practices. Collaborating with cross-functional teams, you will deliver robust, scalable, and secure data solutions that drive business value.

Key Responsibilities

• Data Architecture Strategy: Develop and maintain enterprise data architecture strategy.
• Cloud Data Solution Design: Implement cloud-based data solutions using Azure services.
• Data Integration and ETL/ELT: Oversee data integration processes for various data sources.
• Azure Databricks and Big Data Analytics: Architect big data solutions using Azure Databricks.
• SAP Data Integration: Integrate SAP data with Azure platforms.
• Data Governance and Security: Lead the development of data governance policies.
• Performance Optimization: Enhance the performance of data solutions.
• Data Modeling and Analysis: Implement data models for analytical workloads.
• Data Visualization and Reporting: Design and implement data visualization solutions.
• Cloud Infrastructure Management: Manage the deployment of Azure resources.
• Mentorship and Knowledge Sharing: Provide technical leadership and promote continuous learning.
• Continuous Improvement: Stay updated with the latest Azure data services and industry trends.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field.
• 12-15 years of experience in data architecture, modeling, and engineering roles.
• Extensive experience with Azure data services like Azure Data Lake, Azure Synapse Analytics, Azure Data Factory, Azure Databricks, Azure SQL Database, and Azure Synapse Analytics Dedicated SQL Pool.
• Proficiency in SQL, scripting languages (e.g., Python, Scala), and data modeling techniques.
• Strong understanding of data governance, security, and compliance requirements.
• Experience with big data analytics frameworks like Apache Spark.
• Familiarity with SAP data integration.
• Excellent problem-solving and communication skills.
