We are on the lookout for a passionate Data Architect to design and manage Mölnlycke's data architecture, ensuring alignment with business needs, corporate strategy, and our enterprise architecture. About the Job

In this role, you will closely collaborate with business and Digital leaders to develop and execute a corporate data strategy and architecture. Your focus will be on data management, governance, and quality management, all aligned with our corporate strategy and enterprise architecture.

You will be responsible for:

  • Designing robust, scalable, and fit-for-purpose data solutions that meet standards and functional/non-functional requirements of digital products.
  • Establishing architectural design patterns, best practices, architectural blueprints, and technical designs for data products.
  • Providing guidance to cross-functional Scrum teams and creating architecture and design artifacts for successful digital product development and deployment.
  • Engaging with relevant technology vendors to evaluate their technologies' fitness for Mölnlycke's IT ecosystem and architectural standards.
  • Communicating architectural and design concepts clearly and concisely to business stakeholders.

What You’ll Need

To thrive in this role, you should have a successful track record of developing and productizing enterprise-level data solutions at scale. You should also proactively initiate and network with IT and business colleagues.

Required capabilities, qualifications, and experience include:

  • Bachelor's or master's degree in a STEM field.
  • Minimum 5 years of experience in data architecture with expertise in data management, including data governance, standards, modeling, quality, security, and more.
  • Minimum 3 years of experience in architecting and deploying AI/ML-based data solutions/products.
  • Proven experience in data integration, manipulation, analytics, and visualization using industry-leading tools/platforms such as Azure, Snowflake, Databricks, Alteryx, Power BI, etc.
  • Strong understanding of agile software/system development life cycles and project management approaches.
  • Excellent oral and written communication skills to translate technology into business value, along with strong interpersonal skills.
  • High proficiency in English.
  • Experience in clinical/health data and associated standards (e.g., HL7, FHIR, OpenEHR, OMOP).
  • Experience in the MedTech/Life Science domain.
  • Knowledge of relevant platforms & technologies and documented experience with enterprise software and API-oriented architecture.
