Key Responsibilities
- Translate business requirements into technology requirements and define data standards and principles.
- Visualize and design an organization’s enterprise data management framework.
- Plan, specify, enable, create, acquire, maintain, use, archive, retrieve, control, and purge data.
- Collaborate respectfully with teammates and prioritize user missions.
- Operate within a culture of teamwork, sharing information, and prioritizing team success over individual success.
- Communicate effectively to solve problems and achieve mission goals.
Job Requirements
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in data architecture, design, and development of enterprise data warehouse components.
- Extensive experience with star schemas, Type I and Type II dimensions, facts to dimensions matrices.
- Proven expertise in large enterprise data warehousing, reporting, and Business Intelligence (BI) projects.
- Strong knowledge of dimensional modeling concepts.
- Experience in building conceptual, logical, and physical data models.
- Proven ability to develop and maintain a metadata repository.
- Expertise in at least one major RDBMS platform (DB2, PostgreSQL, or SQL Server).
- Excellent oral and written communication skills.
- Strong people skills to identify requirements and deliver results.
Desired Qualifications
- Experience in a multi-contractor environment with daily interactions with customers and peers from other companies.
- Ability to exhibit a high degree of professionalism, flexibility, and tolerance to change.
- Experience in delivering periodic status presentations to customers and program management.
- Understanding of the operational environments for developed technologies.
- Experience using data modeling tools, preferably ERWin and/or TOAD Data Modeler.
- Understanding of ETL tools, preferably Informatica.
- Prior work experience with the Federal Bureau of Investigation.

Northstrat values work-life balance and does not mandate specific working hours. You are only required to work an average of 8 hours per weekday over the course of a month. Flex time allows you to adjust your schedule to meet project needs and personal commitments.
