Job Responsibilities

As a leader in our team, you will engage in designing exceptional Digital Engineering analytical pipelines utilizing a Model Based Systems Engineering (MBSE) approach. These advanced systems are deployed on cloud platforms like AWS Govcloud to enhance scalability, data integrity, and security across national operations. Your role will directly support US Space Force organizations by providing them with critical analytical insights that drive significant enhancements in space domain operations.

Key Responsibilities Include:

  • Setting strategic MBSE architectural and design directions.
  • Standardizing and innovating CI/CD pipeline templates
  • Enforcing best practices in Source Control, Versioning, and usage of tools like GitLab, AWS, and Nexus.
  • Evolve our MBSE data model library to align with the USSF's team requirements.
  • Architecting and integrating MBSE models across various domains and operational levels.
  • Guiding solution implementations with a focus on scalability, interoperability, and configuration management.
  • Actively engaging with customers to translate their needs into functional architecture.
  • Contributing to all stages of the agile project lifecycle.

Qualifications

Required:

  • Bachelor's or master's degree in STEM with extensive professional development experience.
  • Demonstrable leadership and practical experience in strategic MBSE implementations within agile environments.
  • Expertise in Cameo, SysML, and integrating MBSE with agile software development procedures.
  • U.S. Citizenship with eligibility for a TS/SCI clearance (current clearance not mandatory to start).

Preferred:

  • SCI eligibility.
  • Experience in the space domain, and with Scrum and Kanban agile methodologies.
  • Proficiency in simulation software.

Compensation: Our target salary range is $119,000 to $212,000, with the final offer depending upon your skills, experience, and qualifications.
