Position: Data Architect

Job Responsibilities:

  • Review and integrate all data requirements, including functional, security, integration, performance, quality, operations, and technical architecture requirements.
  • Design, implement, and manage cloud-based solutions on Snowflake.
  • Collaborate with stakeholders to gather requirements and design solutions that meet their needs.
  • Develop and execute test plans for new solutions.
  • Monitor and troubleshoot production systems.
  • Stay updated on the latest Snowflake features and services.
  • Guide teams in handling configurations for multiple departments/groups within a single environment stack.
  • Review business requirements with Business Analysts and perform analysis, feasibility, and gap analysis.
  • Integrate technical functionality ensuring data accessibility, accuracy, and security.
  • Conduct continuous audits of data management system performance, refine whenever required, and report breaches or loopholes immediately.
  • Create and maintain technical design documents, data models, mappings, and pseudocode from business requirements.
  • Create knowledge stores on steps involved in BI implementation.
  • Resolve issues related to SQL and PL/SQL, and maintain data accuracy in BI reports.
  • Manage end-to-end data architecture and translate business goals into data transformation and technology roadmaps.
  • Collaborate with users, business analysts, and developers in day-to-day functions.

Skills Required:

  • Strong business analysis skills with sound judgment.
  • Proven ability to build innovative solutions for business challenges.
  • Excellent communication, presentation, and storytelling skills.
  • Eagerness for continuous learning and self-development.
  • Proficiency in data modeling and design, including SQL development and administration.
  • Experience with Snowflake and any cloud platform (AWS, GCP, Azure).
  • Process knowledge in areas such as Finance, Supply Chain, Marketing, Sales, and Customer Service.

Minimum Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or related IT field.
  • 6-8 years of experience in the data and analytics domain.
  • 4+ years of experience in data engineering and modeling.
  • 2+ years of experience with Snowflake.
  • Proficiency in SQL/PL SQL.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Certification in platforms or tools such as Snowflake, AWS, GCP, Azure, SAP, Oracle, Collibra.
