Job Description and Responsibilities

The ideal candidate will:

  • Support DoD Architecture Framework operations.
  • Provide recommendations, guidance, research, and support for the client's tool and task management solutions.
  • Offer IT strategic advice to government senior leaders and action officers.
  • Identify new initiatives or issues relevant to the client.
  • Research and implement solutions for new database installations.
  • Define requirements for new database systems.
  • Publish and present design reports.
  • Seek areas for improvement in current systems and propose upgrades.
  • Collaborate with team members to meet project milestones and deadlines.
  • Conduct regular database audits to ensure quality.
  • Develop secure systems for data management.

Required Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities (KSA)

Applicants must have:

  • A Bachelor's degree or higher, preferably in a relevant field.
  • Proficiency in math and computer science.
  • Ability to analyze and present statistical information.
  • Expertise in specific database types, such as relational or foundational databases.
  • Extensive experience with database management software.
  • Advanced data management skills.
  • Exceptional communication skills, both verbal and written.
  • Leadership capabilities to manage an IT team effectively.
  • Exceptional multitasking, organizational, and analytical skills.
  • The ability to work efficiently under pressure and with minimal oversight.
  • Strong client relationship development skills.

Training, Education, and Certifications

The following are required:

  • At least 5 years of overall work experience.
  • A minimum of 3 years in related job roles.

Minimum Clearance

Candidates must possess an active secret clearance.

Physical and Mental Qualifications

Successful candidates will be expected to:

  • Maintain alertness during working hours.
  • Work prolonged periods sitting or standing at a desk and operating a computer.
  • Lift up to 15 pounds if necessary.
