Join Our Team as an Expert-Level Data Architect

Allen Integrated Solutions is currently seeking a highly skilled and experienced Data Architect to provide strategic oversight and technical guidance in database structural design and development. This is an expert-level position requiring a minimum of 18 years of experience and an active TS/SCI clearance.

Overall Assignment Description:

The selected candidate will serve as a key technical resource and advisor for strategic planning and execution concerning database architecture. Responsibilities include providing guidance to senior database administrators and developers, overseeing the creation of new databases, and maintaining existing systems to support evolving applications and business needs.

Key Duties Include:

• Consulting across the organization on database design, development, and implementation strategies.
• Developing policies and procedures for data modeling and database management.
• Guiding the development of metadata tags, Document Type Definitions (DTD), and schemas.
• Ensuring data standards and definitions meet both business and mission requirements and comply with NSG/ASG specifications for data sharing.

Required Skills and Experience:

• Bachelor’s degree (or higher) in Computer Science, IT, Engineering, or a related STEM field, or equivalent professional experience.
• Expertise in areas like Enterprise Architecture, Solution Architecture, Data Architecture, including frameworks like DoDAF and IC’s PAG.
• Proven experience in data strategy, models, flow models, and standards.
• Experience in Data Management services including compliance, cataloging, data provenance, and data metrics.

Desired Qualifications:

• Master’s degree in a relevant STEM program.
• Experience with Data access services and technologies such as REST, SOAP, and OGC.
• Experience with Data Queuing, Messaging, Orchestration, and Choreography services.
• Familiarity with Data Security Services (IAA, DPM, DRM, PDP, PEP, PAP, etc.).
• Prior work experience with NGA, NSG/ASG programs, or within the IC or DoD sectors.
