About the Role:

At Link Group, we are presently seeking a seasoned Data Architect to lead our end-to-end data solution efforts. This pivotal role encompasses everything from designing data architectures and models to ensuring the smooth transfer of data across platforms, focusing on scalability and flexibility for Link Group and our clients. As a leader, you'll also be responsible for fostering best practices in data management across the organization.

Key Responsibilities:

• Steer the Data Architecture and Data Modelling functions across our platforms.
• Develop end-to-end data solutions that align with product growth and client needs.
• Create and maintain comprehensive data models; conceptual, logical, and physical.
• Develop and enact data policies aligned with our data governance standards.
• Consult with clients to tailor data solutions for optimal product delivery.
• Direct and mentor our Data Engineers and broader architecture community to ensure alignment and effective solution implementations.
• Stay hands-on with the latest technologies like Snowflake to drive innovations and proofs of concept.
• Formulate overarching solutions for projects, ensuring meticulous governance in data modeling and architecture.
• Continuously optimize our systems and database performance through innovative data architecture solutions.

Required Experience & Personal Attributes:

• A tertiary qualification in Computer Science or a related field.
• Over 10 years in the technology sector with substantial expertise as a Data or Solutions Architect.
• Profound knowledge in Data Modelling (DataVault 2.0, Kimball), cloud architecture, and technologies like Snowflake and Azure.
• Advanced competency with SQL, Python, ADF, PowerShell, and Azure DevOps.
• Ability to define and articulate high-level solutions and understand the interplay between architectural components.
• Strong communication skills, capable of conveying complex data solutions to both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
