Position Overview

As a Data Architect, you will bring extensive experience in developing and delivering enterprise-class data solutions, coupled with a fervent drive for innovation. Your role will be crucial in defining and communicating designs to the architecture and development teams and evangelizing the technical solutions to business stakeholders.

Key Responsibilities

• Develop technical capabilities to enhance the Group’s Enterprise Data technology, offering architecture and design services to multiple projects.
• Manage an Enterprise view of data consumption and production.
• Provide data expertise into projects executed by the Technical Delivery Function.
• Support a team of Developers in delivering technical solutions through a common data approach and model, engaging with key stakeholders.
• Collaborate with the Architecture team to ensure solutions align with the technology plan.
• Design and produce necessary supporting documentation for effective data utilization.
• Draft design and architectural documentation, identifying and implementing improvements to the organization’s data architecture.
• Ensure compliance with company standards and relevant regulations at all times.

Required Skills and Experience

• Experience in enterprise data architecture using Microsoft Technologies; experience in Telematics or IoT is an advantage.
• Membership in Data and Architectural Governance Forums.
• Proficiency in analysis and architectural modeling, including Entity Relationship Diagrams and design specifications.
• Experience with PaaS Cloud Data Services, Data Management techniques, Microsoft Reporting, and Data management environments.
• Experience of the full SDLC, Agile approach preferred and TOGAF Certification is desirable.
• Strong stakeholder skills with the ability to influence clients and excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Good time management, organization, and problem-solving skills.
• Knowledge of data technology platforms including data ingestion, ETL, data lake technologies, Enterprise Data Warehouse, and Data security.
