This role centers around the development of Alstom's Mobility Data Platform (MDP) within a dynamic digital ecosystem aimed at enhancing smart transportation and IoT analytics globally.

Role Summary

The Data Architect will lead the design of solutions based on our sophisticated Mobility Data Platform. Working in a lean startup environment, you will collaborate closely with IoT experts, data scientists, software engineers, and API architects to pioneer our data-driven offerings.

Key Responsibilities

• Design and manage robust data storage and processing architectures for our multi-tenant data platform.
• Develop scalable streaming and data processing solutions.
• Create shared data models and manage security components within the platform.
• Partner with external entities such as startups and research institutes to package our solutions as SaaS offerings.
• Ensure the continuous enhancement of our data processing and visualization tools to meet dynamic business needs.

Skills & Education Requirements

• Over 10 years of experience in IT or digital companies, particularly in designing scalable data processing solutions such as Apache Spark and Kafka.
• Proficiency with container technologies like Docker and Kubernetes, and a deep understanding of DevOps practices.
• Experience with PaaS, SaaS, and cloud service models, especially on platforms like Azure.
• Demonstrable experience with both relational and non-relational databases and optimizing data operations on PostgreSQL/Cassandra and Elasticsearch.
• Master's degree in Computer Science & Information Systems or similar.
• Exceptional teamwork skills and ability to collaborate with global teams. Fluent in English; proficiency in French is advantageous.
