The essence of the role

Join us in our mission to redefine how the world communicates by playing a crucial role in bolstering Sinch's data management capabilities within our newly founded Data office. Our primary aim is to create and deploy data management and governance practices across the entire organization. Data architecture plays a pivotal role in our data management strategies and serves as a key factor in Sinch's strategic vision and roadmap.

As our Data Architect, your responsibilities would include:

• Creating logical data models, drafting data definitions, data mapping specifications, and designing logical data flows.
• Setting up data architecture artifacts and data management standards and guidelines for Sinch.
• Organizing data and management through the execution of data models, data specifications, data definitions, and data flow recommendations.
• Assisting in the growth of our data catalog and highlighting the importance of data as a resource.
• Working hand-in-hand with data producers and consumers across various Sinch groups, and liaising with data governance experts and fellow architects.

To excel in this position, we believe that you possess:

• Experience with DCAM, DAMA, or other Data Management frameworks.
• Proficiency in data architecture which enables you to formulate logical data models, compose data definitions, data mapping specifications, and design logical data flows.
• A proven ability to collaborate effectively with data owners and stewards to translate their business requirements for development teams.
• Prior exposure to other Data Management areas, especially Data Quality management will be considered an advantage.
