What You Will Do

Data Architecture Expertise: Bring your proven experience in building and deploying retail-specific data architectures, particularly on the Google Cloud Platform (GCP). You'll need a solid grasp of data modeling techniques such as relational, dimensional, and star schema, all tailored to boost our e-commerce capabilities.

Data Governance Expertise: Your role will involve implementing data loss prevention measures to maintain and enhance data integrity across our platforms.

Architectural Soft Skills: We value soft skills just as much as technical skills. You should be proficient in presentation, public speaking, and negotiation. Your ability to challenge the status quo and simplify complex matters will be crucial, alongside strong analytical and team communication skills.

What You Need

Experience and Education: You should have at least 10 years of experience in a Data Architect role, with a minimum of 5 years focused on the retail e-commerce sector. A B.Sc. in Computer Science or equivalent is required.

Database Technologies Knowledge: A deep understanding of database technologies including BigQuery, Firestore, Data Catalog, SQL Server, Oracle, and MySQL is essential. Experience with retail data analytics tools is preferred.
