Data Architect Senior - Freelance (H/F) at Teamwork Corporate

As digitalization becomes crucial for organizations, TeamWork is expanding, and we need a skilled Data Architect Senior to join our freelance team for a 2-3 month assignment.

About This Role

As a Data Architect, you will play a critical role in projects that leverage data exploitation to meet client needs. Your responsibilities will include:

• Engaging in pre-sales phases and architectural studies.
• Developing and implementing data architectures on the Databricks platform.
• Defining and implementing Data Architecture solutions suited to project contexts such as Modern Data Warehouse, LakeHouse, and DataMesh.
• Supporting and guiding Data Consultants and Engineers on projects, ensuring the quality of their outcomes and deliverables.
• Working across all data activity domains: BI, Big Data, IoT, and AI.
• Providing critical perspectives and advising on data technology choices.
• Establishing best technical practices and ensuring their implementation in alignment with current methodologies (Zero Trust Security, DataOps, Infra-as-Code, Automated Testing, etc.).

Required Skills and Qualifications

You should bring:

• Profound knowledge of Databricks and SQL.
• Experience in designing and implementing enterprise-scale analytics solutions.
• Familiarity with ETL tools (e.g., Azure Data Factory) and Data Visualization tools (e.g., PowerBI).
• Understanding of various data architecture typologies and Azure environment including MSBI and SQL Server.
• Proficiency in Python for data processing and analysis, and in designing and developing ETL/ELT processes.
• Knowledge of distributed processing and storage tools such as Hadoop, Spark, Databricks, Snowflake, and Kafka.
• Experience with cloud service-based architectures on platforms like AWS or Azure.
• Understanding of rigorous data architecture design principles (security, availability, scalability, confidentiality) and Data Mesh architecture.

Soft Skills

You thrive in ambitious and innovative environments, are proactive, and enjoy learning continuously through training, technology monitoring, and community events. Familiarity with Agile methodologies and a team player who is curious and eager to share knowledge are a plus. Proficient communication skills in French and English are essential.

Education

A passionate data enthusiast holding a Bachelor’s degree or higher in Engineering, or a Data-specific program, with significant experience in Data Engineering and Architecture, specifically in a Databricks environment.
