About the Role

We are seeking a Data Architect specialized in Snowflake, a seasoned data warehouse consultant adept at transitioning clients' on-premise data warehouses to cloud solutions like Snowflake. The role involves designing, constructing, and maintaining data warehouse architectures and optimizing data model structures, both logical and conceptual.

Responsibilities

• Develop installation solutions for new databases.
• Analyze and determine database requirements.
• Publish and present design reports.
• Enhance existing systems for improved performance.
• Collaborate with team members to meet project milestones and deadlines.
• Perform regular audits on databases to ensure data integrity.
• Implement robust security measures to protect data.

Required Qualifications

• 4-5 years of hands-on experience with Snowflake, including architecture, account, user, and role management; data warehouse and stage management; utilizing virtual warehouses and clustering.
• Profound knowledge of data architecture principles such as dimensional modeling, entity-relationship modeling, star and snowflake schemas, data warehousing, data lakes, and data governance.
• Extensive experience in designing and developing data warehouse solutions, including technology selection, schema definition, data transformation, and ETL/ELT processes.
• Advanced data modeling skills to design efficient and scalable schemas in Snowflake.
• Proficient in SQL.

Preferred Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Software Engineering, Network Engineering, or a related field.
• Familiarity with SnowSQL and Snowflake tools such as Snowpipe, Snowpark, Streams.
