Job Title: Data Architect

Exciting Role:

We are seeking a dynamic Data Architect to lead the data platform strategy for our progressive FinTech company. This role requires robust data architecture skills and a deep understanding of data engineering, Business Intelligence (BI), and reporting systems.

Key Responsibilities:

• Oversee the data architecture across various platforms, including AWS and Databricks.
• Maintain and innovate on the data lakehouse platform, ensuring optimized data models.
• Translate complex business processes into streamlined data models.
• Develop technical solutions and architectural frameworks based on business requirements.
• Lead cross-functional teams through the build process, ensuring alignment and high-quality delivery.
• Provide expert guidance on all aspects of the company's data, including compliance and operational support.
• Document both technical solutions and business processes to ensure clarity and alignment across teams.

Requirements:

• Proven experience in data modeling and schema deployment on databases.
• Expertise in SQL for data analysis, performance tuning, and complex data operations.
• Experience in managing and analyzing large datasets across cloud platforms such as AWS, Azure, or GCP.
• Proficiency with modern BI tools like Tableau and PowerBI.
• Ability to lead virtual teams and collaborate effectively across the organization.

Nice to Have:

• Experience with ETL architectures, API integrations, and Python data pipelines.
• Leadership skills for managing data teams and conducting effective stand-up meetings.
• Familiarity with data governance practices such as data lineage, masking, and quality control.
