As a Data Engineering Senior Architect at 3Cloud, you will work closely with fellow 3Cloud team members to understand our client's data and analytic requirements, and employ architectures and data solutions that enable the analytic capabilities that steer their business decision-making. This job has a travel requirement of up to 30%. Responsibilities: - Design Azure-based technical solutions using a diverse range of available tools, considering both functionality and performance. - Lead teams on projects, guiding the technological process, managing client relationships and expectations to build trust and credibility. - Implement end-to-end data platform solutions for our clients. - Manage client expectations in terms of scope, cost, and timeline. - Produce high-quality project documentation and other project artefacts, including written case studies detailing use cases and project specifics. - Serve as an effective technical mentor to more junior-level teammates. - Deliver complex projects on-time and within budget, proactively identifying and mitigating gaps and risks. - Expand your knowledge in multiple tools and technologies. - Promote a problem-solving culture that resolves issues through collaboration and partnerships with other parts of the organization. - Support the internal objectives of 3Cloud that aid the progression of data services design and techniques. - Assist the Sales Team on pre-sales efforts to define scope estimates for most projects when bandwidth allows. Requirements: - You have 5+ years of experience architecting data solutions on Azure. - You can apply technological knowledge and insights to create a data modernization roadmap and architect solutions to meet business and IT needs. - You have data modeling experience with several Azure technologies including Azure Databricks, Azure Data Factory, Azure Data Lakes, Azure Synapse vs Azure SQL Server/DB and Azure DevOps, and Python. - You are result-oriented and have a reputation for getting things done. - You possess a growth mindset and the desire to constantly improve your skills. - You are comfortable in high-speed environments. - You are confident presenting to senior-level clients. - You feel a strong responsibility for a project’s success. - You thrive in a team environment. - You have strong communication skills. 3Cloud Total Rewards Highlights Include: - Flexible work location with a virtual-first approach. - 401(K) match up to 50% of your 6% contributions of eligible pay. - Generous PTO providing at minimum 15 days on top of 9 company-paid holidays and 2 personal days. - Multiple medical plan options for you to choose the one best suited to you. - Options for vision and dental coverage. - 100% employer premium coverage for STD and LTD. - Paid leaves for birth and non-birth parents. - Options for FSA, HSA, HRA, and Dependent Care. - $67.00 monthly tech and home office allowance. - Bonus eligibility based on role. - Comprehensive Employee Assistance Program to help with everyday challenges. 3Cloud offers competitive compensation. In addition to base pay, employees are also eligible for an annual discretionary/utilization bonus. Your final base salary at 3Cloud is determined by factors such as skills, education, experience, and/or geographical location. Please bear in mind that the range mentioned incorporates the entire base salary range for the role. Offers are typically not made at or near the top of the range.
