Job Description: Data Architect

Embark on a thrilling journey with 3Pillar Global as a Data Architect. If you're passionate about data analytics solutions that deliver real-world impact, this is your gateway to an exciting career in Data Science and Engineering. You will be crucial in helping clients take control of their data and derive value by defining reference architectures. Working closely with business leaders and information management teams, you'll set and implement roadmaps for data management, business intelligence, and analytics solutions.

Responsibilities

• Translate business requirements into data requests, reports, and dashboards.
• Strong database and modeling concepts with exposure to SQL and NoSQL databases.
• Solid understanding of data architecture patterns and principles.
• Design and implement secure, scalable data lakes, warehouses, hubs, and event-driven architectures.
• Expertise in ETL process design and coding using Python/Java/Scala.
• Understanding of the Hadoop ecosystem - PySpark, Spark, Storm, HDFS, Hive.
• Experience with DataBricks and Snowflake.
• Knowledge of Master Data Management (MDM) tools and practices.
• Thorough understanding of data security and privacy regulations (GDPR, HIPAA).
• Ensure data accuracy, consistency, and quality.
• Experience with AWS/Azure/GCP data engineering services.
• Knowledge of various AWS services, such as S3, Redshift, Lambda, DynamoDB, EMR, Glue, Lake Formation, Athena, Quicksight, RDS, Kinesis, Managed Kafka, API Gateway, CloudWatch.
• Familiarity with Azure services like ADF, Data Catalog, Databricks, Synapse Analytics, ADLS Gen2, Azure DevOps.
• Implement data validation processes and establish data quality standards.
• Experience in Linux.
• Proficiency in data visualization tools like Tableau and Power BI to create insightful reports.

Additional Skills

• Experience with data ingestion tools such as Fivetran, Stitch, Matillion.
• Understanding of AWS IoT solutions.
• Knowledge of Apache NiFi, Talend, Informatica.
• Familiarity with GCP Data services.
• Exposure to AI/ML technologies is a plus.
