About the Opportunity

The OKX data team manages the entire data spectrum for OKG, including technical selection, architecture design, data ingestion, storage, ETL, visualization, business intelligence, and data science. The team consists of data engineers, analysts, and scientists, taking end-to-end ownership of data throughout its lifecycle—from ingestion to ETL, warehousing, and services. As a Data Engineer, you will collaborate with the team to leverage data technologies, facilitating evidence-based decision-making and enhancing the quality of our products and services.

What You’ll Be Doing

• Design and continuously optimize risk control and security strategies using historical data and expert experience to prevent misuse, fraud, and cheating through data analysis and mining.
• Develop resilient and efficient data pipelines for both batch and real-time streaming data.
• Architect and design cloud-based data infrastructure using industry-standard tools.
• Execute projects with an Agile mindset.
• Build software frameworks to address data challenges at scale.
• Collaborate with product managers, software engineers, data analysts, and data scientists to develop scalable, data-driven platforms and tools.
• Ensure data integrity and scalability by enforcing data standards, enhancing data validation, and monitoring processes to prevent and quickly resolve issues.
• Define, understand, and test opportunities to enhance our products and services.

What We Look For In You

• Minimum 3 years of experience in Risk, Anti-fraud, and Anti-cheat strategies.
• Proficient in Machine Learning, Data Mining, and Risk strategy/models for solving risk issues.
• Skilled in data processing tools such as Spark and Flink.
• Proficiency in SQL, with advanced knowledge of SQL/FlinkSQL features including window functions, aggregate functions, and user-defined functions.
• Familiarity with AWS Data Pipeline.
• Strong programming skills in languages such as Hive-SQL, Python, Java, Spark, and Shell.
• Self-driven, innovative, collaborative, with strong communication and presentation skills.

Nice to Haves

• Knowledge of Alicloud Data Engineering processes.
• Familiarity with Deep Learning, CV/NLP, and Graph technologies.
