Job Description: Data Engineer, Financial Services - Spark Scala - Ile de France

Your Future Work Environment: As part of our dedicated team, you will join our squads working on transformative projects at a major French commercial bank. You will play a crucial role in application management in areas such as compliance, fraud prevention, anti-money laundering, credit risk, treasury, payments, structured financing, and banking regulations.

Located within our Data Factory, you will be intimately involved in all project phases, contributing to the success of high-profile clients and further developing your technical and functional skills in challenging and exciting bank sector projects.

Your Role and Responsibilities:

• Designing, deploying, and maintaining reliable, secure data pipelines at scale to support essential business applications.
• Ensuring resilience, security, and accessibility of data pipelines.
• Defining operational models for monitoring and supporting data pipelines.
• Providing expertise to optimize and secure client data needs.
• Advancing data quality management and governance to comply with data governance standards.
• Maintaining technological vigilance to enrich technological roadmaps and deliver modern solutions to our clients.

Qualifications:

• Master’s degree in Engineering, Computer Science, or similar, with at least 3 years of technical experience.
• Proficient in relational and NoSQL databases, ETL/ELT tools (e.g., Informatica, Datastage), distributed data processing technologies (Spark, Scala, Hadoop), and data streaming frameworks (Kafka, RabbitMQ).
• Competence in CI/CD chains and DataOps best practices.
• Experience in data virtualization solutions (Denodo, Dremio, etc.) and Agile Scrum methodology.
• Professional proficiency in English.
• Keen interest in digital technology, Cloud environments, and innovative technologies.
