The DataViz team at Apple serves as the backbone in creating intuitive, actionable visualizations and analytics that empower informed decision-making across the company. This role involves collaborative efforts to tackle complex challenges throughout the product design process at Apple.

What You Will Do

As a core member of the team, you will:

• Develop and refine data visualizations and presentations for all levels of the company – turning complex datasets into clear insights.
• Program using R or Python to evaluate trends, perform data cleaning and analysis, and create innovative visualizations.
• Engage in entirety of product data life-cycle, from preprocessing data to creating mathematical models and custom visualizations.
• Collaborate with diverse, cross-functional teams to enhance analytical tools and data understanding.

Key Qualifications

The ideal candidate should demonstrate:

• Proficiency in R or Python for data analysis and visualization.
• Strong foundation in statistics to identify data patterns using standard techniques.
• Capability to write clean, effective code for data visualization that offers deep insights into complex data sets.
• A proactive attitude in team collaboration, eagerly seeking and giving feedback to refine designs and methods.
• A passion for both functional and aesthetic aspect of visualization and design.
• Interest or experience in 3D data sets, Natural Language Processing, or interactive visualization tools like Shiny or d3 + React.

Education & Experience

A Master’s degree or higher in an analytical discipline such as Computer Science, Engineering, or Data Science, complemented by at least 2 years of relevant professional experience. A Ph.D. degree is preferred.

Compensation and Benefits

Apple offers a competitive salary range of $124,600.00 to $230,600.00, commensurate with experience and location.
