Job Description
Ubisoft Barcelona Mobile is currently in search of a Data Scientist to join our team for their next adventure. The Data Analyst will provide support to our Data team's insight initiatives. This individual will report to the Data & Analytics Manager.
Your daily adventure:
- Transforming data into actionable insights, by performing thorough research, data exploration and analysis, to inform decisions and strategies for user acquisition, retention, and monetization.
- Collaborating with the game teams to provide insights into user behavior, answering key business questions, and assisting in AB test design and analysis.
- Executing projects on machine learning for behavioral segmentation and monetization.
- Debugging and resolving issues to ensure the delivery of precise and clear analysis, reports, and tools.
- Effectively communicating results and insights to senior stakeholders throughout the organization.
- Coordinating, challenging, and sharing the best analytical practices and methods within the organization.
- Keeping up-to-date with the latest advancements in Machine Learning technologies and Data Science trends.
- Contributing to the knowledge base and culture of the team.
Qualifications

- Master's degree in a quantitative field (i.e., Physics, Mathematics, Engineering, Computer Science, Data Science, Machine Learning...). A PhD in any of these disciplines is a plus.
- Three or more years of relevant work experience in similar positions, ideally in the mobile gaming industry.
- High proficiency in SQL and Python or R for data exploratory analysis.
- Substantial knowledge of data visualization tools like Tableau, Looker, Microstrategy, etc.
- Strong analytical skills in applied statistics or econometrics, and proficiency in data analysis and data storytelling.
- Experience in designing effective ways to communicate, visualize, or report results/analysis.
- Experience in the implementation of ML models with Python/R.
- Excellent problem-solving capabilities, with a strong attention to detail.
- Fluency in English.
- Prior work permit for Spain is essential before applying for the position.

- Passion for games. Interest in mobile F2P games.
- Excellent communication and collaboration skills in multicultural environments for effective working relationships.
- Spanish or Catalan are a plus.
