Job Description: Key Responsibilities

We are seeking a creative Data Scientist-2 who excels in innovative thinking and possesses a passion for leveraging company data to solve complex business problems. You will:

• Engage clients to decode their challenges and convince stakeholders with actionable data insights.
• Extract and analyze data to generate solutions and strategies for client benefits.
• Create effective visualizations to simplify complex analyses for diverse audiences.
• Design new products from analyses that could be marketed to various clients.
• Collaborate across the Visa organization to spot and exploit data opportunities to drive business solutions.
• Improve products, marketing efforts, and business tactics for Visa and its clients by mining and analyzing data from company databases.
• Develop, customize, and apply data models and algorithms to databases.
• Utilize predictive modeling to enhance customer experiences, revenue growth, data insights, ad targeting, and other key business outcomes.
• Maintain and refine processes and tools to monitor model and data accuracy and performance.

This role is designed as a hybrid position, allowing for a balanced work approach between remote and in-office engagements—creating a flexible and dynamic work environment aligned with business requirements.

Qualifications

Basic Qualifications:

• 2-4 years of relevant experience alongside a Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or related field.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Master’s Degree in Computer Science or a related field.
• Proficiency in Java, Go, Scala, Python, or similar, with a solid foundation in developing data pipelines and software development.
• Experience working with large data pipelines and understanding of cloud architecture, Docker, Kubernetes, and blockchain technology.
