Job Description

As a Senior Machine Learning Engineer specializing in Conversational AI, your role will be pivotal in shaping the future of our AI-driven product offerings. You will work closely with cross-functional teams to design, develop, and deploy advanced conversational AI systems that enhance how businesses interact with our technology.

Key Responsibilities

Machine Learning Integration: Collaborate with product managers, engineers, and data scientists to integrate ML algorithms seamlessly into our products.

Development of RAG Models: Focus on the creation and optimization of Retrieval-Augmented Generation (RAG) models to improve the efficiency and effectiveness of information retrieval and generation processes in AI interactions.

Vector Databases: Employ and enhance vector databases and indexing techniques to optimize data retrieval needed for AI conversational contexts.

Language Model Optimization: Utilize large language models like Cohere to tailor solutions for the tech industry, particularly in the Construction and Utilities sectors.

NLP/NLU/NLG Techniques: Implement the latest in Natural Language Processing, Understanding, and Generation to elevate the performance of our conversational AI products.

Research and Innovation: Stay ahead of market trends and technological advancements in machine learning and conversational AI to keep our solutions competitive and innovative.

Mentorship: Provide guidance and lead junior machine learning team members in their career and skill development.

Qualifications

Education: A Master’s degree or higher in Computer Science, Engineering, Mathematics, or a related field is required. An advanced degree is preferred.

Experience: At least 5 years of experience in machine learning engineering, particularly in developing and deploying conversational AI solutions.

Technical Skills: Expertise in Python, and familiarity with ML libraries such as TensorFlow, PyTorch, or JAX. Proficiency in cloud platforms like AWS or OCI, and technologies such as Docker and Kubernetes.

NLP Knowledge: Solid understanding and practical experience with NLP, NLU, and NLG applications, including sentiment analysis, entity recognition, and text generation.

Communication: Strong ability to communicate complex technical ideas effectively across diverse teams.
