About the Role: Data Scientist 3

The right candidate will be pivotal in developing strategies to analyze large, sometimes unstructured datasets, transforming them into actionable insights. This role involves:

• Creating analytic models and conducting statistical analysis.
• Applying mathematics, statistical methods, and computer science knowledge to solve real-world problems.
• Designing and implementing data processing systems, data management, and curation practices.
• Developing predictive models and inference techniques tailored to specific domains.
• Translating mission requirements into technical specifications and vice versa.
• Communicating complex technical data in a clear manner to non-technical audiences.

Required Qualifications:

The ideal candidate will possess:

• TS/SCI with Agency Appropriate Polygraph.
• A Bachelor’s Degree in Mathematics, Statistics, Computer Science, or a closely related field with 10 years of relevant experience, or an Associate’s degree with 12 years of relevant experience.
• Extensive coursework in advanced mathematics and/or computer science.
• A Data Science Certificate from an accredited institution could be considered with different educational backgrounds.

Required Technical Skills:

Applicants must have experience:

• In designing and implementing machine learning and advanced analytics algorithms.
• Programming in high-level languages such as Python.
• With statistical analysis, data management, data mining, and artificial intelligence.
• Expertise in multiple areas listed is strongly preferred.
