About the Role

VASS is currently searching for a skilled Data Scientist to contribute to innovative projects remotely. You will play a crucial role in gathering business requirements, engaging with project teams, and applying advanced data methodologies to uncover valuable insights.

Main Responsibilities

• Gathering and analyzing business requirements
• Participating in meetings with project teams
• Identifying and applying relevant data analytics and AI solutions
• Conducting exploratory data analysis to validate data
• Utilizing advanced data analysis methodologies to extract actionable insights
• Contributing to the development of Data Infrastructure components
• Summarizing and presenting data-driven insights to diverse audiences
• Designing and developing BI reports, dashboards, and visualisation products
• Writing technical documentation
• Interacting with business analysts, customers, users, and project leaders

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Data Science or related fields
• Minimum of 5 years of experience in creating BI reports with SAP BI and Qliksense (competence level 5)
• At least 3 years of experience in using Python for data analytics (competence level 3)
• In-depth knowledge of data warehouse and data lake design principles
• Proficiency in Python and relevant data analytics and AI libraries
• Expertise in business intelligence reporting tools (SAP BI and Qlik)
• Strong understanding of advanced AI techniques
• Adaptability to fast-changing technologies in the Data, AI, and Business Intelligence domains
