About the Role

Aetna Resources LLC, a CVS Health company, is looking to hire a Data Scientist at our Woonsocket, RI location to develop and implement analytics applications and models. You will play a key role in transforming data into valuable insights to drive CVS Health’s services and solutions.

Key Responsibilities

• Design and develop data solutions utilizing industry-leading tools and technologies.
• Create advanced algorithms and statistical predictive models to evaluate scenarios and anticipate outcomes.
• Utilize data mining, natural language processing (NLP), and machine learning to manage and interpret large data sets.
• Develop predictive models to inform health metrics and future outcomes.
• Visualize data, create actionable reports, and compare models using statistical performance metrics.
• Deploy insights across various channels using machine learning and statistical analysis.

Qualifications

To be considered for this role, you should have:

• A Master’s degree in Computer Science, Data Science, Statistics, Mathematics, Analytics, or a related field (or foreign equivalent).
• Two (2) years of work experience in data analysis from multiple sources.
• Experience with visualization tools like PowerBI or Tableau.
• Proficiency in machine learning, statistical analysis, or predictive modeling.
• Knowledge of SAS or SQL, NLP tools (e.g., Scikit-Learn, SpaCy, PyTorch, or Spark NLP).
• Experience with big data platforms such as Hadoop (Azure, GCP, or AWS) and Spring Boot microservices.
• Familiarity with traditional relational data warehouse technologies like Oracle, Teradata, or DB2.
• Experience with PySpark, Scala, or Java.

Salary Range: $98,717.00/year to $196,000.00/year

This range represents the base annual full-time salary for all positions in the job grade. Actual salary will depend on factors such as experience, education, geography, and other relevant considerations.
