About the Team

The KLA Services team, headquartered in Milpitas, CA, consists of Service Sales and Marketing, Spares Supply Chain Management, Field Operations, Engineering, Product Training, and Technical Support. The team collaborates with field teams and customers across various sectors to maintain high performance and productivity through an extensive portfolio of services, including proactive management tools, expertise in optics, image processing, motion control, 24/7 technical support, and a worldwide parts network.

Job Description and Preferred Qualifications

We are seeking a Data Scientist to join our Global Support Services (GSS) business unit. You will collect, analyze, and interpret vast amounts of product and service data using analytical, statistical, and programming skills.

Responsibilities:

• Develop algorithms and models to support machine learning programs.
• Create data visualizations, dashboards, and reports to drive insights and improve business growth.

Qualifications:

• Experience with CRM systems like SAP CRM, ServiceNow, and ServiceMax. Familiarity with technical platforms such as ABAP, BTP, SAP PI/PO, and BI tools.
• Strong background in enterprise applications, including SAP, PLM (Enovia/Teamcenter/Windchill), and Snowflake.
• Experience in Capital Equipment Manufacturers, Medical Equipment Manufacturers, or similar industries.
• Proficiency in SQL and Python (and/or R) for machine learning function development.
• Experience in driving large-scale transformation programs and leading innovation initiatives.
• Project management experience or PMP certification preferred.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Experience with survival analysis for reliability and actuarial methods for risk analysis.
• Proficiency in managing large-scale programs with significant resources.

Education and Experience

Minimum Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree with at least 5 years of experience.
• Master's degree with at least 3 years of experience.
