Your mission: - You will influence the decision-making process on Marketing topics such as customer acquisition, retention or upselling across all Delivery Hero brands by using data science, statistics, and analytics. - You will work closely with the broader Marketing teams to drive innovation by analyzing customer data, prototyping solutions and models, and establishing control metrics. - You will handle broad briefs to analytical/data science projects and translate insights into actionable recommendations for the business to amend customer-centric strategies and optimize the campaign portfolio. - Collaborate closely with other data scientists and engineers to implement your models into production & foster model improvements. - Outline and drive the best practices of data science within the Marketing and product analytics domain. Promote data science within the tribe and the larger company. Your heroic skills: - 3+ years of experience as a data scientist working on applying data science fundamentals to solve complex business problems. - Master’s degree (or Bachelor’s with 5+ years of experience) in a quantitative field such as Computer Science, Statistics, Engineering, Mathematics, Physics, Theoretical Chemistry, or Similar. - Knowledge of a wide variety of Machine learning and Statistical methods (Causal inference, Clustering, and propensity modelling) and its pros-cons. Ability to identify the best approach and methods suitable for a problem. - Strong coding skills in Python and SQL. - Comfortable with ambiguity and can navigate it to define data science problems. Ability to break down a problem into manageable tasks and establish clear data science goals. - Effective communication skill, and ability to explain complex work in simple terms to team members and stakeholders. Also, you should be able to visualize data to reinforce insights. Nice to have: - Previous experience in driving Marketing efficiency projects as well as customer growth segmentation exercises. - Experience working with Google cloud products, Vertex AI, Airflow, version Control (Git, GitHub), and tableau.
