Job Overview

Join Deutsche Bank's Anti-Financial Crime (AFC) Data Analytics team and drive enhanced risk detection and decision making through dynamic risk analytics. This role involves developing advanced analytics solutions and leveraging AI/ML to uncover patterns related to financial crime. Collaborate with the Chief Innovation Office and other AFC functions to develop prototypes and industrialize the use of Analytics and AI/ML.

What You’ll Do

  • Collaborate with other AFC teams on AI/ML and data analytics use cases
  • Perform analysis on big data platforms using extensive analytics tools for standardized analysis of large datasets and present findings
  • Develop, calibrate, and test AI/ML and other analytical models
  • Work on projects with the Chief Innovation Office

  • Manage upward communications to escalate and inform decision-making effectively
  • Maintain a thorough understanding of the regulatory environment and actively participate in beneficial change processes both internally and externally

Skills You’ll Need

  • Knowledge and practical experience in big data platforms, data analysis, data preparation, and evaluation
  • Experience in statistical analysis tools such as SAS, R, Python, and data visualization tools like Tableau or Qlik
  • A university degree in mathematics, computer science, data science, or a related quantitative/science discipline

Skills That Will Help You Excel

  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills in English
  • Experience in preventing financial crime or risk management within financial services

Expectations

Deutsche Bank expects employees hired for this role to work in the Jacksonville office according to the Bank’s hybrid working model. The salary range for this position is $100,000 to $145,500, based on various factors such as skills, experience, education, location, and other qualifications. Incentive compensation and additional remuneration are not included in the posted salary range.
