- High-Traffic Environment: Handle 1.9 billion users per month, processing 100 billion events per day, with low latency and high availability constraints (2 million requests per second, responses in under 150 milliseconds).
- Rich Tech Stack: Utilize a diverse set of technologies and systems, primarily Scala and TypeScript, optimized for performance, scalability, resiliency, and cost-efficiency.
- Large Datasets: Manage extensive datasets with millisecond access times to compute near real-time complex auction resolution algorithms (18 million predictions per second).
- User-Friendly Web Products: Develop intuitive web products used by thousands allocated to premier publishers, advertisers, and agencies globally.

Data Scientist Assistant Role
As a Data Scientist Assistant at Teads, you will focus on our user graph, enabling probabilistic linking across multiple user devices and broadcast channels (CTV, Web). You will also work on advanced deep learning models to classify users or derive optimal vector representations of their digital activities.
What You Will Learn:
- Programming in Python (pandas, keras, tensorflow, seaborn, etc.)
- Mastering GCP big data tools like Bigquery and Looker
- Using production tools in the AWS stack
- Scala programming
- Adhering to best practices in data engineering and machine learning engineering
What You Will Bring:
- Knowledge of Python for data science
- Familiarity with big data-oriented SQL; experience with other aforementioned tools is a plus
