About the Role

As a Data Scientist Assistant, you will join our Audience Analytics team, collaborating closely with business units such as CRM, Paid Media, and Brand across the globe. Your main task will be to analyze the consumer database, improving accessibility to customer insights and monitoring player behavior with relevant metrics. You will also manage a research project, contributing your expertise and fresh perspectives to our ongoing strategies.

Key Projects:

• Database Analysis: Monitor and understand player dynamics within the database for various business objectives.
• Clustering: Apply unsupervised learning techniques to segment players based on their behaviors in games or within the Ubisoft ecosystem.
• Game Scoring/Churn Detection: Develop models to predict the likelihood of a player engaging with new games, enhancing recruitment and cross-promotion across brands.

What We Are Looking For

The ideal candidate will be currently pursuing advanced studies in statistics or applied mathematics and should have:

• Experience with SQL and Python; familiarity with Tableau Software is a plus.
• Strong analytical and synthesis abilities: capable of handling big data, building relevant metrics, and crafting insightful visualizations.
• Proficiency in data analysis techniques, machine learning (both supervised and unsupervised), and time series analysis.
• Independence, proactive approach, excellent organizational and communication skills.
• Fluency in English.
