Data Scientist

Develop user-centered features Create reusable, secure code Optimize for cross-platform use Ensure speedy, scalable applications Maintain code integrity and cleanliness Troubleshoot, test, and resolve issues Contribute to technical architecture Design cloud-based components Convert project requirements into scalable cloud solutions Manage cloud resources and efficiency Perform necessary cloud migrations Maintain and support cloud services Develop and test infrastructure code Coordinate with various stakeholders Generate technical documentation Report on daily progress Requirements What qualifications do you need to be successful in this role? Possess a minimum of a Bachelor's degree or equivalent Possess either of the following certifications: Microsoft Certified Data Scientist Microsoft Certified Data Engineer AWS Certified Data Analytics AWS Certified Big Data Have at least 13 years of professional experience in IT Have at least 4 years of professional experience with data processing languages such as R, Python, Scala, Julia Have a minimum of 2 years of experience with distributed computing tools like Spark, Hadoop, Hive Have at least 2 years of working experience with cloud services, preferably AWS Have solid knowledge of architectural design and implementation of scalable modern data stores Understanding of best practices and patterns in data processing architecture Proficiency in modelling tools Knowledge in data management in Postgres SQL and ElasticSearch Familiarity with code versioning tools such as Git or Gitlab Understanding of cloud infrastructure setups such as Azure or AWS Experience in system administration in a virtualized Cloud environment Knowledge of data processing tools in the cloud Ability to write clear and well-structured technical documents Understanding of security, risk, and compliance frameworks, disaster recovery, high availability architectures, hardware, operating systems, and networking connectivity Proficiency in English up to level B2 Benefits At Uni Systems, we are committed to providing equal employment opportunities and prohibiting any form of discrimination based on gender, religion, race, color, nationality, disability, social class, political beliefs, age, marital status, sexual orientation, or any other characteristics.
