Company Description

Since our establishment in 2009, the commerce industry has undergone tremendous changes, and so has Square. After providing a platform for anyone to make payments without missing any sales, we observed sellers being held back by disjointed, outdated products and tools that were incompatible.

Therefore, we ventured into software and started creating integrated, omnichannel solutions – to assist sellers in online sales, inventory management, implementing buy now, pay later functionalities via Afterpay, scheduling appointments, engaging loyal customers, and hiring and paying staff. In all these sectors, we have incorporated financial services tools into point-of-sale operations, allowing business owners to secure a business loan and manage their cash flow from a single platform. Afterpay furthers our aim of providing omnichannel tools that unlock substantial value and growth, empowering sellers to tap into the new generation of shoppers, increase order sizes, and compete on a bigger scale.

Today, we work with sellers of all sizes – large, enterprise-level businesses with complex operations, new sellers, as well as merchants who started with Square and have since expanded. As our sellers continue to grow, so do our solutions. We have a huge opportunity ahead of us. We are building a substantial, meaningful, and enduring business, and we are aiding sellers around the world to do the same.
