The Team

Join our Credit Risk Analytics team, also known as the League of Lending, and be part of the largest data science resource at iwoca. This dynamic and autonomous group includes analysts, developers, and credit risk managers focused on innovative, high-quality solutions in an iterative, feedback-driven process.

The Role

Model Development

Develop cutting-edge models to enhance our predictive capabilities in credit risk management, from inception and validation to deployment and monitoring. Collaborate across teams to ensure integration and effectiveness of model predictions.

Model-driven Insights

Utilize advanced tools to derive actionable insights from data, influencing operational changes and enhancing business strategies at iwoca.

Project Ownership and Autonomy

Lead projects designed to solve iwoca's key business challenges, progressively taking on greater responsibility in solution design and maintaining close engagement with stakeholders for continuous improvement and personal growth.

The Requirements

  • Strong analytical skills with a foundation in probability and statistics.
  • Proficient in data manipulation and modeling tools such as pandas, statsmodels, R.
  • Capable in scientific computing with tools like NumPy, SciPy, or Matlab.
  • Self-motivated with the ability to manage projects from start to finish.
  • Experience in machine learning, mathematical finance, or implementing production-level solutions is a plus.
  • Familiarity with Python is advantageous.

The Salary

We offer a competitive salary range of £70,000 - £90,000, aligning with market rates and performance. State your salary expectations in your application.
