Are you aiming to be part of a high-performing Analytics and Transformation team within a global Chief Risk Officer (CRO) organization at the cutting edge of the wealth management industry? In this diverse role, you will develop predictive models, introduce new technologies, manage change initiatives, and conduct financial and economic analyses to enhance the proficiency and efficacy of risk management. Working in highly competent, rapid-paced teams alongside Risk, Compliance, Analytics, and Legal SMEs, you will drive business value by collaboratively solving complex analytical problems.
YOUR CHALLENGE
• Lead and support data analytics and business intelligence initiatives to success, focusing on Non-Financial Risk modeling
• Design, develop, validate, implement, and monitor predictive models following industry best practices and a solid theoretical foundation
• Collaborate closely with senior stakeholders to design quantitative solutions using various analytical principles to optimize different banking processes
• Assist in positioning the Data Science team as a front-runner in this field within the organization and in the wealth management industry
• Collaborate with internal IT and external providers to conduct in-depth analyses and identify top-tier solutions by leveraging the latest technology and the CRO Analytics & Transformation's in-house built infrastructure
YOUR PROFILE
• 5+ years of relevant work experience
• Strong Banking experience focusing on Non-Financial risk - Compliance, Risk Management, and Legal
• A master's degree from a university of applied sciences in STEM fields (science, technology, engineering, mathematics), economics, or banking and finance
• As an agile worker, you enjoy working in a rapidly evolving environment
• You are passionate about utilizing data and statistics to solve intricate problems
• You are eager to learn new things and apply creative thinking to challenge the status quo and proactively propose new solutions
• You are team-oriented and enjoy collaborating with diverse experts, being receptive to various ideas and expressing your own, to deliver the best possible outcome
• Strong database programming skills (e.g., SQL)
• You are proficient in programming (e.g., in R, Python, Java, or C++)
• You have some experience in project management or business analysis
• You are fluent in English (main business language), any additional language is an advantage
