About the Opportunity: Data Scientist/Analyst Role

We're expanding our data capabilities and looking for a talented Data Scientist/Analyst to join our dynamic team. If you're passionate about data analysis and the cryptocurrency space, this role is perfect for you!

Key Responsibilities

Data Warehousing & ETL

• Collaborate with the data engineering team to design, develop, and maintain a robust Redshift data warehouse.
• Build and optimize ETL pipelines to ingest data from diverse sources, including trading systems, market data feeds, Mixpanel, and Google Analytics.

Data Analysis & Insights

• Conduct in-depth analysis of trading data, user behavior, and market trends to uncover actionable insights and opportunities.
• Identify and track performance metrics for business functions, such as trading volume, user acquisition, and retention.

Reporting & Visualization

• Develop clear and compelling reports, dashboards, and visualizations to communicate findings to stakeholders across the organization.
• Create self-service reporting tools to empower teams with data-driven decision-making.

Advanced Analytics

• Explore opportunities for predictive modeling to forecast market trends, user behavior, and risk factors.
• Design and implement A/B tests to evaluate the impact of product changes and marketing initiatives.
• Investigate potential applications of machine learning for personalization, fraud detection, and other areas.

Job Requirements

• 2+ years of experience in data science or analytics, preferably within the cryptocurrency or financial services industry.
• Strong proficiency in SQL, Python, and data warehousing technologies (Redshift preferred).
• Experience with data visualization tools (e.g., Tableau, Looker) and statistical analysis is a plus.
• Familiarity with cryptocurrency markets, trading strategies, and blockchain technology.
• Demonstrated ability to identify and solve complex data problems independently and collaboratively.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to explain technical concepts to non-technical audiences.
• A strong interest in the cryptocurrency space and a desire to contribute to its growth and development.

• Experience working at a reputable cryptocurrency exchange (e.g., Binance, Bybit, OKX).
• Experience with big data technologies (e.g., Hadoop, Spark).
