Job Summary
Join the HII-Mission Technologies team as a Data Scientist supporting the USINDOPACOM Integrated Joint Fires Center (IJFC) under the ITEAMS Task Order. In this role, you will:
- Identify and analyze data requirements for planning and operational execution.
- Integrate data across Services, Allies, and Partner Nations.
- Collaborate with multiple staff offices to standardize data ingestion and tagging.

Responsibilities
- Work across USINDOPACOM directorates to understand and utilize data.
- Ensure data ontology and quality for USINDOPACOM data.
- Advise on the evolution of data strategies and policies.
- Use communication and visualization tools to present quantitative information.
- Interpret and communicate analysis findings to stakeholders.
- Tag data assets for search and discovery.
- Develop relationships with Geographic Combatant Command CDOs and other stakeholders.
- Support planning and data management for risk assessments.
- Handle, move, and manipulate data between applications using industry-standard software.
- Identify insights from large data sources and compile reports.
- Prepare conclusions and predictions based on data.
Requirements
We’re looking for candidates with:
- 5 years of relevant experience with a Bachelor's degree; 3 years with a Master's degree; 0 years with a PhD or Juris Doctorate; or 9 years of relevant experience with a High School Diploma.
- Experience with MIL-STD data formats and various tactical data links.
- Proficiency in Data Science techniques for structured and unstructured data.
- Strong problem-solving and creative thinking abilities.
- Oral presentation, data visualization, and writing skills.
- TS/SCI clearance.
Preferred Qualifications
Bonus points for candidates with:
- 6+ years of relevant experience with a Bachelor's or related field.
- Familiarity with USINDOPACOM HQ and associated missions.
- Experience with intelligence community systems and tools.
- Experience working in a 4-star Headquarters.
- Proficiency in AWS, Java, C++, APIs, and related technologies.
- Effective verbal and written communication skills, including executive summaries.
Physical Requirements
This role may require working in various environments, climbing ladders, and tolerating temperature variances.
