About Your New Role

As a core member of our Airports team, you will play a pivotal role in enhancing transportation experiences at airports, which are crucial, high-impact areas of our business. Your expertise in data science will contribute directly to enhancing both the driver and rider experiences through cutting-edge analytical solutions and strategic decision-making.

In this role, you will:

• Analyze complex data to simplify and improve the overall airport experience
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including engineering, product management, and operations, to implement product enhancements
• Develop and deploy models to predict ride demand and optimize wait times
• Create tools and processes to inform drivers effectively, enabling them to make strategic decisions swiftly

What We Need From You

With your strong business acumen and technical expertise, you will:

• Foster opportunities for growth and efficiency using analytical frameworks
• Work closely with stakeholders across various teams to turn data insights into actionable strategies
• Design, fit, and implement statistical, machine learning, or optimization models
• Manage the entire lifecycle of data, from querying and analysis to visualization and insights
• Establish and track metrics that gauge product and business health, as well as customer satisfaction

Desired Skills and Experience:

• A degree in Statistics, Economics, Applied Math, Operations Research or Engineering; advanced degree preferred
• Minimum of 3 years' experience in data science or analytics, ideally within a fast-paced environment
• Proficiency in SQL, Python, and data visualization tools
• Strong communication skills with the ability to lead and influence

This role is designated as 'hybrid,' requiring in-office attendance three days per week with the flexibility to work remotely up to four weeks annually. The targeted salary range for this position is $124,000 - $155,000, varying by experience and location.
