We are excited to offer a pivotal role as an Attribute Data Scientist within the Driving Experience department of our Complete Vehicle division, located in the heart of Volvo Cars' R&D hub in Gothenburg. Our focus spans a range of dynamic attributes including vehicle dynamics, brake characteristics, performance, drivability, various types of noise, and more. By collaborating closely with design and release teams, we ensure an outstanding driving experience for our customers. To deepen our understanding of customer preferences, we aim to enhance our capabilities in data science and data engineering.

What Will You Do?

As a member of the Insight team, you’ll lead and support activities related to data collection, generation, and analysis, aiming to boost customer satisfaction across various attributes. A crucial part of your role will be transforming complex data into actionable insights, working alongside attribute teams and central functions to advance our data and analytics capabilities. This position underscores the importance of timely and sophisticated analysis, particularly in areas like structural dynamics and NVh (Noise, Vibration, and Harshness).

Who Are We Looking For?

We seek a candidate with solid experience in both data science and dynamic attributes like structural dynamics and NVH. Familiarity with CAE methods for aeroacoustics and NVH will be considered an advantage. The ideal candidate should be open-minded, trustworthy, and a collaborative team player comfortable in international settings. A successful candidate will also be adept at building networks, possess a positive, courageous attitude, and have substantial experience in car product development. Proficiency in English and a Master of Science in Engineering or a related field are essential.
