The Impact of the Role:

The Data Scientist role is a key component of our Data Chapter responsible for employing advanced analytics to extract valuable insights, solve intricate problems, and foster a data-driven decision-making environment across the organization.

This is an exciting opportunity to be part of the intelligent mobility ecosystem. A typical day for a Data Scientist involves:

• Applying advanced statistical and machine learning techniques to analyze large datasets, derive significant insights, and develop predictive models.
• Working closely with cross-functional teams to manage end-to-end projects from conceptualization to production.
• Implementing experiments to assess the potential of new product concepts and identify new opportunities that align with our business goals.
• Communicating data-driven insights to non-technical audiences through clear visualizations and data storytelling.
• Mentoring and guiding junior team members, nurturing an environment of consistent learning and innovation.

Requirements

What you need to succeed in this role:

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Mathematics, Statistics, or a related field.
• A minimum of 3 years' experience in a Data Scientist role. Experience working on optimization problems and in the smart city, automotive, and mobility sectors is highly desirable.
• Proficiency in Python for data analysis, machine learning, and optimization modeling.
• Evidence of working with production systems.
• Experience using Agile Methodologies.
• Strong problem-solving abilities and capability to handle complex, real-world challenges.
• Outstanding communication and collaboration skills.

It'd be amazing if you have:

• Experience with data analysis, data preprocessing, and feature engineering in Natural Language Processing (NLP) contexts.
